Growing up in Queensland, I’ve always had a passion for sports. From touch football and basketball to cross-country and athletics – if there was a way I could get out of class though school sports, I took advantage of it! Athletics, sprinting in particular, was definitely my favourite and in 2009 at the age of 16, I found a coach and started training
Fast forward to 14+ years later and I’ve had the honour of representing Australia at Olympic and Commonwealth Games, World Championships and everything in between. As I start to come towards the end of my professional athletics career, I’ve found myself wanting to put all the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years of being a high-performer to good use by helping others feel and move their best, and what better way to do that than through massage.
Studying at QAcademy in Brisbane, I received my Diploma in Remedial Massage and have since been mentored by one of Australia’s best massage therapists in a bid to continue learning new methods and techniques to get the best results for my clients. My aim is to raise the standard of massage and have every client leave having had a positive experience and feeling significantly better physically than when they came in.
