Exercise Physiologist
I was raised in a small country town before moving to Brisbane in 2018 to complete my Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science followed by my Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at ACU. Growing up in a country town enabled me to develop strong connections with the community which motivates me to provide the most effective health care services to all.
I have always been extremely passionate about sport, specifically, Rugby Union and League – if I’m not playing or training, then I’m watching sport. I have previously played for Queensland Country Junior NRC sides and QAS 7’s teams and only recently competed in Australian 7’s Olympic Trials. I’m currently playing for the Red Heavies in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition. Through being involved in these elite environments, it has driven my passion for elite sports development and the importance of S+C.
Throughout my elite sporting career, I have had numerous musculoskeletal injuries. This has further re-enforced my passion for rehab by providing me with a wholistic view on the importance of rehab in an elite setting.
I want to bring what I have learnt and my passion for rehabilitation to North Lakes Sports and Rehab so that I can help people achieve their very best, whether it be in an elite sporting field or normal daily living!
