Senior Physiotherapist Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist

I grew up in the ACT until I was 15 when we moved to sunny Queensland and haven’t looked back. Growing up in sport loving family meant I was never to far away from a track, a field or subsequently a physiotherapy table, which is where my passion for physiotherapy began. I graduated my Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 from ACU and worked in a hospital while completing my Graduate Diploma of Sport Physiotherapy in 2018. I successfully completed my dual masters of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2021.

My love of sports grew, it paved the way for my career in sports and exercise physiotherapy. In 2017 I started working with Queensland Cricket in the women’s program and since have had multiple opportunities to work in the underage program with Cricket Australia. I have also been privileged to work in a number of sports including state level netball, hockey, rugby union and national level rugby 7’s. My interests are shoulders, muscle injuries, tendons rehabilitation, concussion management, load management for injury prevention and the return to sport for athletes in particular rugby and cricket.

As a former Netballer myself, I understand the challenges that come with injuries and strive to get everyone back participating as soon as safely possible. I believe rehabilitation is a two-way street and I enjoy working closely with people to ensure their program fits their needs.
